Terms and Conditions for Photoshoot Bookings
Deposit - A deposit of 25% is due when booking. Once the deposit is paid you are booked into the diary and your date and time is secured. I am unable to hold dates without a deposit being paid. Deposits are non-refundable unless for any reason I have to cancel your booking. If this happens I will do everything I can to provide an alternative photographer or recommendations or date. If for any reason you wish to change the day, time or location of your booking the deposit transfers to the new booking as long as the new date you require is available.
Payment - Once the deposit has been paid the remaining balance is due in full on the day of your photoshoot or 2 weeks before if your booking is for Wedding Photography. If you require a payment plan for Wedding Photography so you can spread the cost monthly, please request this and one will be drawn up for you. Payments can be made via bank transfer to sort code: 04-03-33, account number: 76850340, name Georgina Jones or by cash at the studio. Paypal is accepted but only if paid via friends and family option so fees are not incurred.
Your photographs - Your edited photographs should be ready for you to download within 2 weeks of your photoshoot or 4 weeks if its Wedding Photography. Every effort is made to ensure you receive your images as soon as possible. Prints if included in your package will be provided once you have agreed which ones you would like. There is no rush to make that decision, we keep your images for 6 months.
Limitations - Photographers are sometimes limited by rules imposed by registrars, ministers and venue management as to what can and cannot be done when it comes to Wedding and Event Photography. For example some ministers insist that no flash photography is allowed and others will insist that the Photographers shoot from a specific location. In such circumstances the Clients agree to accept the technical limitations that may be imposed. We advise the Clients to make themselves aware of the rules of the venue concerned and if necessary negotiate with the personnel concerned.
Copyright – The copyright of all photographs taken belongs to Ginny’s Photography. You are granted full printing rights which means you are free to print and use the photographs as you wish. Ginny’s Photography retains copyright so we can use your photographs for advertising purposes. Those purposes are that I am allowed to post them on my social media business pages and/or website and for use in my portfolio. I will not provide printed copies of you photographs to anyone should they request them. This is something only yourselves can do. When posting photographs to your social media pages that have been supplied by Ginny’s Photography you are not allowed to edit or add filters to them. The photographs provided to you are a representation of my work and my style and any adjustments, edits or filters that you apply do not represent my business. You are therefore only allowed to post the images I provide in the finalised condition they are provided to you in. Tagging my business page when you post them to your social media profiles would be much apreciated.
Liability – The Photographer has working methods in place to prevent loss or damage to your images. However, there is the unlikely possibility that images may be lost, stolen or destroyed for reasons in or beyond our control. In these circumstances liability is limited to the return of fees paid for the service or part thereof according to the percentage of images supplied.
Guest Photography (Weddings) - All your guests will have digital cameras and all your guests will want to photograph the happy couple. In the spirit of cooperation you agree to give the Photographers precedence over the guests in order to take the photographs required for the wedding services booked. We cannot be held liable for a lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos continually interrupt the Photographer's work.
I acknowledge that I have read, understand and agree to the terms laid out above with regards to my photo shoot with Ginny’s Photography.
